Jaap Stam’s Royals are one place and two points behind their promotion rivals in the table and Garry Monk will be hoping he can have all of his players fit for the showdown.
Wood has scored 24 league goals this season which makes him the top goalscorer in the division ahead of the likes of Dwight Gayle, Tammy Abraham and Jonathan Kodjia.

Prior to the international break, the Whites picked up a valuable 2-0 win against automatic hopefuls Brighton with Wood getting both goals.
After the weekend encounter, the Yorkshire club will remain on the road with a tricky Tuesday night fixture against Brentford awaiting them.
Thereafter, they will host promotion hopefuls Preston North End at Elland Road, knowing a positive week could see them edge closer to securing a play-off spot.
At this moment in time, Monk’s side are fourth in the table on 69 points from their 38 games, eight points behind second-placed Brighton.
Three wins within the space of the week could boost the club’s chances of making a late but timely push for the automatic places.
In other Leeds news, fans would have been brought down to earth by the brutal comments by this duo.
