Leeds fans needed to be brought down to earth after Jaap Stam and Kermorgant comments

The international break has been pretty dull, but the build up to Leeds against Reading has certainly got the ball rolling for the return of the Championship fixtures.
Reading duo Jaap Stam and Yann Kermorgant couldn’t help themselves but provide brutal assessments of their weekend opponents.
It is fair to say that many of the supporters didn’t take too kindly to the words spoken by the senior duo.
However, the Elland Road faithful needed to brought down to earth after those comments because what they have said is correct, in particular, Kermorgant.

Over the course of the season, striker Chris Wood has been an integral part of Garry Monk’s side, scoring goals in nearly half of their matches which has taken his tally to 24 for the season.
When Wood has failed to find the back of the net, the Yorkshire club have gone on to lose eight of those matches – they have lost 11 throughout the campaign.
This is a clear indication as to how reliant they are on him and how mediocre the rest of the group are, with Souleymane Doukara’s five goals the next best.
This further proves how Kermorgant was correct when he stated that Monk’s side are a “one-man team”.
Nothing should be taken away from Leeds or Monk because it has been a fairytale season for the club.
If the Englishmen can earn promotion this season then it will be one of the greatest triumphs in the club’s history considering what they have been through in the last 13 years.
