‘Enjoy your football elsewhere’, ‘Sell him’ – Leeds fans react to ominous first-teamer comments

Leeds fans have taken to Twitter after reading the latest comments from popular enforcer Pontus Jansson.

Talking to Swedish outlet Expressen, Jansson was asked about his plans with Leeds for next season.

The defender said that he wanted to talk with the club to get clarification over the direction they were moving in.

“We’ll see what’s happening, I want to hear from the club how to look next year and so on,” the 6ft 3in colossus said.

That’s sent some Leeds fans into a spiral, with one saying that after manager Paul Heckingbottom revealed his transfer budget, that they might as well wave goodbye to both Jansson and star attacker Samu Saiz.

He ended his tweet with a dig at the owner, adding #ThanksRadz and tagging Andrea Radrizzani in.

Another fan said that Leeds should sell him and get £10million for him as he’s been “pants”.

However, not everyone was so angry or concerned. One fan said he would be distraught if a player wasn’t interested in what was going on with the club next season.
