Ethan Nwaneri and Joe Willock react to Tino Livramento’s message amid Newcastle exit whisper

Newcastle full-back Tino Livramento shared an update with supporters amid growing speculation over his future at St James’ Park.

Livramento enjoyed an excellent campaign last season, firmly cementing his place as a first-choice option on either side of defence.

His standout performances didn’t go unnoticed, and the season was made even more special after Livramento earned his first senior England cap.

However, his form has now sparked interest from elsewhere. Football Insider revealed that Manchester City are considering stepping up their pursuit of Livramento, viewing him as a long-term replacement for Kyle Walker.

Despite the growing speculation, Newcastle remain in a strong position. The club have no desire to sell and, with Livramento tied down to a long-term contract and the Magpies in a healthy financial position, they hold firm control in any potential negotiations.

As the talk around his future continues, the full-back has now provided a direct update to fans, making clear he remains focused and settled as the summer progresses.

Premier League stars respond to Tino Livramento amid Man City interest

The full-back was not involved in the Magpies’ recent pre-season defeat to Celtic, as he continues individual training following an extended break after helping England win the Under-21 European Championship.

He captioned his post simply with: “Ready” alongside a determined image, prompting reactions from several Premier League players.

His post saw multiple reactions from across the Premier League including Arsenal duo Myles Lewis-Skelly, Ethan Nwaneri and teammate Joe Willock.

The 22-year-old has become a pivotal figure in Eddie Howe’s squad since his £32 million move from Southampton in 2023, already racking up 80 appearances in all competitions for Newcastle.

With Kyle Walker leaving Manchester City for Burnley earlier this summer, it’s no surprise that Pep Guardiola’s side are eyeing Livramento as a long-term replacement. However, Newcastle remain reluctant to lose key players.

The side’s refusal to entertain offers for Alexander Isak following interest from Liverpool suggests the same stance will be applied to Livramento as well.

While Livramento’s future remains unresolved, another Newcastle player who could be on the move is Willock.

Football Insider revealed that Newcastle could look to sell Willock this summer as part of their plans to reshuffle the squad.

Crystal Palace have registered their interest in Willock, with manager Oliver Glasner keen to strengthen ahead of the club’s return to European football formal approach could follow in the coming weeks.
