Eunan O'Kane delivers Leeds verdict ahead of Birmingham clash
By Dominic Toner
Leeds midfielder Eunan O’Kane has revealed that his side won’t be under-estimating Birmingham in their league fixture.
The Whites travel to St Andrews on Friday night for a Championship match and will start the game as favourites.
Garry Monk’s side are competing for promotion this season and are occupying a play-off position in fourth.
Meanwhile, Birmingham are 14th-placed in the league table and their promotion aspirations have faded since Gianfranco Zola took over from Gary Rowett in December.
O’Kane has stated that Leeds are confident ahead of Friday’s game, but is aware of the threat from their opponents.

“It’s a case of not under-estimating anyone but at the same time not giving anyone too much respect,” O’Kane said, as quoted by the Yorkshire Evening Post. “It’s served us well so far.
“Last week was Birmingham’s first win (for a while) so I’m sure they’ll be high on confidence. But we’re as confident going into the game as they are.”
Leeds have been exceptionally strong at home this season, but have not recaptured the same form away from Elland Road.
They have picked up just one victory in their last five away matches in the league and will hope to rectify that against Birmingham.
Monk’s side picked up a vital 1-0 win over promotion rivals Sheffield Wednesday in their last game and look set to be in the play-off picture at the end of the season.
Birmingham are just floating around mid-table, but go into the Leeds clash on the back of a 2-1 away win at Wolves.
