Euro 2016 striker sensation hails Liverpool attacker on Twitter

France international Antoine Griezmann was full of praise for Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino on Twitter.
Firmino has been one of Liverpool’s star performers this season, and netted both goals as the Reds were stunned in a 3-2 defeat to Swansea on Saturday.
The Brazilian’s display oozed quality despite the result, showcasing tremendous skill to chest-down and then volley home his second goal.
The 25-year-old now has nine goals and six assists from 25 appearances in all competitions this season, and Griezmann took to Twitter on Saturday to praise the Liverpool man.
The Atletico Madrid star labelled Firmino as a “top player”, in a short-but-sweet commendation of his performance against Swansea.

Griezmann played a starring role for France as they reached the Final of Euro 2016 in the summer, netting six goals – the most of any player in the tournament.
Firmino is : TOP player ????

Prior to his brace on Saturday, it had been a difficult few weeks for Firmino. After a blistering start to the season, Firmino had scored just once in his previous 10 league appearances.
Meanwhile, he was arrested and charged with drink driving on Christmas Eve, sparking calls from fans to drop the player from the first-team.
However, Jurgen Klopp stuck with his man, and his faith in the Brazilian appears to have been well-founded.
Both Firmino and Klopp, however, would have been more content if the display had resulted in victory, having lost precious ground in the Premier League title race.
The Reds could fall 10 points behind league leaders Chelsea if Antonio Conte’s side beat Hull on Sunday, while Arsenal can also move ahead of them into second with a similar result against Burnley.
