By Matt Farr

Everton manager Ronald Koeman has made four changes to his starting XI for his side’s meeting with Southampton on Saturday.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin is set to make his first start for the club, having impressed a substitute in recent weeks, while there also a place in the team for fellow youngster Tom Davies.

Ramiro Funes Mori and Aaron Lennon also return, with the former replacing Phil Jagielka in the heart of the defence. Kevin Mirallas, Gareth Barry, and Enner Valencia are the other Everton to players to miss out.

Everton revealed their line-up via their official Twitter account:

Tom Cleverley, who is a transfer target for Newcastle according to the Sun, is named on the bench.

The Toffees drew 2-2 with Hull on Friday, which saw them slip a further three points adrift of sixth-placed Manchester United, who opened up a nine point cushion with their last-gasp win over Middlesbrough.

Everton have won just three of their last 10 league games, and their last home tie saw them defeated by Liverpool in the Merseyside derby.

However, they will be looking to improve on their run of form against a Southampton side that have also won just three of their last 10.

In other Everton news, Koeman is planning a £12 million bid for this Serie A man, a player he wanted to sign at Southampton.
