Everton confirmed line-up v Burnley: 22-year-old is dropped in one change

By Matt Bullin

Everton boss Ronald Koeman has named just one change to his side to take on Burnley at Goodison Park this afternoon.

Ashley Williams returns from suspension to replace Matthew Pennington in the centre of defence.

22-year-old Pennington drops to the bench and the rest of the starting XI is the same as the one that beat Leicester 4-2 last time out.

The club announced the team news via their official Twitter account prior to the 3pm kick off.

The Toffees are chasing their eighth successive home win, while Lukaku is hoping to score in his ninth straight home game in all competitions.

If Koeman’s side do come away with three points they can move above Arsenal and Manchester United into fifth. They’ll be level on points with United who play Chelsea tomorrow.

If Burnley claim an unlikely win – it will be their first away win in 343 days – they could rise to 10th if other results go their way.
