'Brings nowt to the table' - Everton fans blast youngster on Twitter after shocker v Swansea

By Will Butcher

Everton fans have criticised Dom Calvert-Lewin on Twitter for his performance against Swansea on Saturday evening at the Liberty Stadium.

The 20-year-old struggled against Paul Clement’s side on Saturday evening, as the Toffees suffered a 1-0 loss to the Welsh outfit thanks to Fernando Llorente’s early strike.

Everton’s number 29 was substituted at half-time during the loss and was replaced by Ross Barkley, as he struggled to find a way past Swansea’s sturdy defence.

The loss sees Everton fail to keep the pressure on sixth placed Arsenal with the loss, as they remain two points behind the Gunners despite playing two more matches.

Calvert-Lewin has proved that age is just a number after breaking into Ronald Koeman’s first team this season, and even found the back of the net against Hull in March for the Toffees.
