Everton player ratings v West Brom: 23-year-old moves joint top and gets 8/10
By Alex Stevens
Football Insider rates the Everton players during their routine 3-0 win over West Brom in the Premier League on Saturday.
Joel Robles 7 – The perfect game for a goalkeeper with hardly anything to do from a lacklustre West Brom side, spearheaded by Robson-Kanu.
Seamus Coleman 7 – Solid at the back and always a threat running forward. Could have had a penalty in the first half.
Phil Jagielka 6 – Didn’t look convincing to start off with but, helped by Williams, he looked far better as the game went on.
Ashley Williams 8 – Extremely assured performance at the back and Everton rarely looked like conceding.

Leighton Baines 6 – A decent performance in the first half without wowing but was taken off for Funes Mori at half-time.
Morgan Schneiderlin 7 – He doesn’t get many goals and was over-the-moon with this one today that made the second half much more routine.
Gareth Barry 7 – Solid performance from the veteran and he showed that he’s still got the vision to pick out the passes.
Ross Barkley 8 – A top performance and if he could show this level consistently he’d start living up to the talent that everyone knows he has. Provided the assist for Lukaku’s goal.
Tom Davies 6 – Didn’t look out of place but a fairly anonymous performance by his recent standards.
Kevin Mirallas 7 – Got the first goal in the 39th minute after a poor start to the game but subbed off in the 71st minute. A decent outing.
Romelu Lukaku 8 – The 23-year-old Talisman looked like he was going to be out of the goals for once but came up with one late on to take him joint top of the Premier League scoring charts. He also provided an assist for the second goal and was a threat throughout. How can they replace him if he leaves?
Ramiro Funes Mori (for Baines 45) – 6
Idrissa Gueye (for Kevin Mirallas 71) – 7
Dominic Calvert-Lewin (for Gareth Barry 84) – 5
