Everton’s most ‘realistic solution’ to permanently sign Jack Grealish revealed
Jack Grealish has starred for Everton this season and the Toffees are already exploring avenues to keep the midfielder beyond the campaign.
Grealish joined Everton on loan from Man City and has four assists in his first three Premier League matches for the club.
At Man City, Grealish was frozen out under Pep Guardiola and was left out of their Club World Cup squad.
As Everton begin their new era at the Hill Dickinson Stadium under David Moyes, the club want to ensure they can attract the best talent to help them move forward on and off the pitch.

Details of a Jack Grealish deal revealed
As per The Telegraph [12 September], Everton have the option to sign Grealish for £50million next summer as part of the loan agreement.
However, the Everton’s most “realistic solution” points to the club waiting out for a free transfer.
“With two years remaining on Grealish’s City contract, he was valued as a £50m asset during the last transfer window. That valuation inevitably decreases as by next summer Grealish will have just one year on his City contract,” The Telegraph reported.

“There is also his salary to consider, which is understood to be in the region of £12m a year. Everton are unlikely to be able to afford any fee for Grealish if they commit to pay such wages, meaning a free transfer is the most realistic solution if he is to stay at Hill Dickinson Stadium long-term.
“That would be a matter of negotiation in the event of the club and player seeking to prolong their relationship, and will depend on the level of interest from elsewhere as City are sure to go into the 2026 transfer window seeking a fee for the player.”
Grealish joined Man City for £100m in 2021 from Aston Villa and has won the Premier League and Champions League at the club.
Grealish signing would make Everton statement
The impact that Grealish has had at Everton is clear to see and he looks like he is getting back to his best form.
Grealish is pushing for an England recall after being left out of the latest Three Lions squad.
Thomas Tuchel may not be able to ignore Grealish if his fine form continues.
Everton signing Grealish permanently would mark their ambitions to rise up the Premier League table in their new stadium.
Grealish’s arrival has had a positive impact on performances and under Moyes they have an experienced coach able to get the best out of his squad.
Finances will play a huge part in any Grealish deal, but the player currently seems the happiest he has been in a while following a tough year at Man City.
