Exclusive: Birmingham City and West Brom make moves to sign Mikey Moore

Birmingham City and West Brom have registered their interest in signing Tottenham sensation Mikey Moore, sources have told Football Insider.

The Midlands duo, who will play in next season’s Championship, are keeping close tabs on the 17-year-old forward.

Birmingham and West Brom are keen to take Moore on loan next season as they look to reinforce their front lines.

The teenager is regarded as a huge talent capable of taking next season’s Championship by storm.

Moore signed a three-year professional contract with Tottenham on 12 August 2024, the day after his 17th birthday.

Championship duo eye loan move for Moore

Moore is a product of Tottenham’s academy and made his debut for the senior side in the 2023/24 campaign, becoming the club’s youngest ever Premier League player in a 2-0 defeat to Manchester City.

Last season, the winger was handed three starts in the top-flight by Ange Postecoglou, featuring for a total of 1029 minutes in all competitions.

If Moore were to go on loan to West Brom, he would be linking up with former Tottenham coach Ryan Mason, who was recently announced as the new manager at the Hawthorns.

Football Insider exclusively revealed that Harry Kane played a major role in Mason’s move to the Baggies, with the pair remaining in touch from their playing days.
