Exclusive: Chelsea plan to accept ‘offer they cannot refuse’ for Enzo Fernandez
Chelsea are bracing for offers for Enzo Fernandez after his exceptional start to the 2025-26 season.
Sources told Football Insider that Real Madrid are eyeing up signing Fernandez from Chelsea after impressing at Stamford Bridge.
He is in his third season in west London, with Facundo Buonanotte learning from Fernandez in training, highlighting his gravitas at the club.
The Argentine has become one of Enzo Maresca‘s go-to men as he continues to get admirers from across Europe.

Chelsea would only accept bid over £100m for Enzo Fernandez
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the Blues are certain they want to hold on to the 24-year-old despite interest from European giants.
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness exclusively told Football Insider during the summer that Real Madrid wouldn’t be able to afford Fernandez, although Xabi Alonso remains keen on bringing him to the club.
Speaking on the Inside Track podcast, I explained: “Any way that they [Chelsea] let him go? Excuse me, if they had got such a huge fee from him I know they couldn’t turn it down.

“Again, he was a big money signing when he arrived from Benfica for over a £100million. Chelsea will be looking well in excess of that, looking to make a profit on him, because Fernandez is under contract until 2032 at Stamford Bridge.
“So, Chelsea are in no need to listen to any offers for him.”
Marc Guiu to fight for place at Chelsea after January loan no longer an option
Chelsea’s Daily Mail reporter Kieran Gill exclusively told Football Insider that Maresca does not trust Marc Guiu to help manage the workload in the frontline.

The Spaniard had been reduced to a benchwarmer after being recalled after just three games from Sunderland, following the injury to Liam Delap.
Guiu will not be leaving on-loan in January and did pick up his first minutes for the Blues this season in their 2-1 victory over Liverpool on 4 October.
Joao Pedro is in desperate need of support up front given the west London outfit’s fixture congestion and the winter months will be even more demanding.
