Exclusive: Crystal Palace sensation Jesse Derry watched by four giants

Crystal Palace winger sensation Jesse Derry is the subject of huge interest from four top European clubs, sources have told Football Insider.

Bayern Munich, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid have all watched the 17-year-old closely as they run the rule over a potential swoop.

Derry is yet to put pen to paper on the offer of a professional contract at Crystal Palace, putting top clubs across Europe on high alert.

Losing the teenager will be a major blow for Palace, who hold him in high regard and are reluctant to lose another academy prospect after the recent departures of Samuel Lusale and Reggie Watson.

But with the Eagles’ bloated Under-21 squad, there are mounting concerns about the pathway to first-team football for Derry at Selhurst Park.

Derry has scored 20 goals in 27 appearances for the Under-18 side at Palace and notched his first strike for the Under-21 side in January against RB Leipzig.

He is already a England Under-19 international after making his debut at that level in November 2024.

The youngster can play on either flank and as a centre-forward and has done so throughout his development at Palace.

Crystal Palace also bracing for Guehi offers

At the senior level, the Eagles are also bracing for offers for captain Marc Guehi – who is out of contract in June 2026.

Football Insider revealed last week (4 February) that Liverpool and Arsenal are likely to join the race for Guehi in the upcoming summer window – with Newcastle, Tottenham and Chelsea also keen.

Spurs launched a late-window, £70million bid for the Palace skipper as a potential solution to their defensive injury crisis – but saw the offer rejected.
