Exclusive: Danny Mills reveals how Everton can land sensational signing
Danny Mills has claimed Everton will have to “promise the earth” to Jack Grealish to secure his signature this summer.
The former Leeds United full-back, speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs, admitted whilst the Toffees are a club on the up the 24-year-old may have pinned his hopes on a move to an established top-six side.
As revealed by Football Insider, Everton are plotting a sensational swoop for the Aston Villa captain as they look to build their team around the playmaker.
The club believe they can lure Grealish with the promise of working with esteemed manager Carlo Ancelotti.
They are likely to face stiff competition from Manchester United and Football Insider understands they are lining up a major bid for the attacking midfielder this summer.
When asked by Football Insider if Grealish could be lured to Goodison Park in the upcoming transfer window, Mills said: “I think Grealish would want to play Champions League football. The stage he is at in his career, all of the talk is about a big move and that is what he will be angling for and see himself doing.

“But if Everton promise him the earth – who knows what his motivation is.
“Everton is clearly a club that is heading in the right direction over the next few years. There is a lot of good with Ancelotti and the owners. There are three variables though – can they afford him? Can they afford his wages? And does he want to go there?”
Grealish has been in scintillating form this campaign, scoring nine and assisting eight in his 31 appearances.
However, the Villa club captain has been heavily criticised in recent weeks after he breached government lockdown guidelines by attending a party at Ross McCormack’s house.
