'Unpredictable' - Exclusive: Darren Bent baffled by Leeds player who keeps him guessing

Darren Bent admitted that he never knows what to expect from Leeds United defender Ezgjan Alioski.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Laura O’Leary, the Tottenham and Aston Villa striker claimed Alioski was unpredictable as his form blows hot and cold.

Alioski has regularly featured for Marcelo Bielsa’s side this season and he scored the opening goal of the Whites’ 2-0 win over Huddersfield Town at the weekend.

Bent acknowledged that while he was baffled by Alioski, it was clear to him that Bielsa liked the defender as he does a job for the side.

When asked what he made of Alioski as he seems to be a bit of a wild card, Bent told Football Insider: “He is unpredictable and you never quite know what you’re going to get from him.

“He does a job and Bielsa obviously likes him as he seems to play him more often than not.

The 27-year-old has racked up over 100 appearances for Leeds since arriving at Elland Road after joining the club from Swiss side FC Lugano in July 2017.
