Exclusive: Nottingham Forest making late move to sign Tegan Finn
Nottingham Forest are making a late move for Plymouth Argyle’s teenage sensation Tegan Finn, sources have told Football Insider.
The 16-year-old has broken into the Plymouth first team this season and has made four appearances in the Championship throughout the current campaign.
Finn made his first-team debut as a substitute in the 3-0 Championship defeat by Leeds United at Elland Road in November before going on to make his full debut against Coventry City in December.
The exciting wide-attacking player also made an appearance off the bench at Oxford toward the end of December, and he has been a regular in the matchday squad this season.
Nuno Espirito Santo is looking to snap up Finn while he’s available to strengthen his squad with an eye on the future.
Nottingham Forest are planning for the long term
Forest are currently in the midst of a fantastic season with the club sitting third in the Premier League after 24 games, having won 14 and only lost five.
Santo’s men are just three points behind Arsenal in second place while they boast a six-point gap over Man City and Newcastle.
Finn would be seen as a signing for the future at the City Ground due to his age but would provide Santo with a further attacking option.

Forest have also been pursuing Yoana Wissa during this transfer window, but it appears unlikely they will be able to lure the Brentford star.
