Exclusive: Rangers to accept last-minute Danilo offer on one condition
Rangers could allow Danilo to leave in the final stages of the January window if a replacement can be found, sources have told Football Insider.
Danny Rohl does not want to leave himself short of options at the top of the pitch, but a late addition to the attacking ranks would open the door for the Brazilian to move elsewhere.
Football Insider revealed last week that Rangers are pushing to add another striker before Monday’s deadline, and if they are successful in that aim in the coming days, then Danilo will be moved on if a suitable option presents itself.
The 26-year-old hasn’t started in the league for Rangers since 3 December, but scored during a brief cameo against Dundee last time out, and is still needed as cover for the Gers at the moment.

Danilo set to be striker fall guy amid Youssef Chermiti latest
Football Insider revealed earlier in January that Rangers are hopeful that Youssef Chermiti has turned a corner with his form, and that has now been reflected by the fact that they have rejected an offer from Fenerbahce for him.
The much-maligned Portuguese endured a difficult start following his move from Everton in the summer, but his form has since improved in recent weeks, and he netted a double in the 3-1 victory over Celtic on 3 January.
Fenerbahce submitted a £13million bid for the 21-year-old earlier this week, but swiftly saw their advances knocked back by Rangers, who have no desire to sell him this month.

Instead, Danilo will be the fall guy if another attacker can be sourced in the final stages of the window.
The former Feyenoord man has drifted to the fringes of the squad recently, and has fallen firmly below the duo of Chermiti and Bojan Miovski in the pecking order.

His stoppage-time strike against Dundee last time out was a reminder that he can still be an effective option on his day, but it is already clear that Rohl does not value him highly within the group.
Rangers already have Danilo replacement in their sights
Rangers are chasing Hansa Rostock striker Ryan Naderi ahead of Monday’s deadline, as they aim to make a last-minute attempt to add the 26-year-old to their squad.
The 22-year-old has hit eight goals and four assists from just 17 games in Germany’s third tier so far this season, a return that has helped push Rostock up into the race for promotion.
Naderi is a product of Borussia Monchengladbach’s academy and is enjoying a breakout season at senior level, after initially making the step up to Rostock last season.
Reports in Germany have suggested that Rangers have already made a bid of £2.6m for the youngster, and they are pushing to try and get a deal over the line in the final moments of the window.
The Gers have clearly already lined up Naderi to come in and replace Danilo, and it now appears to be a case of whether they can get the transfer settled in time.
