West Brom attacker Wes Hoolahan is set to sign a contract extension until the end of the season at the Hawthorns, Football Insider understands.
Hoolahan’s current deal expires at the end of January after joining on a short-term deal in September on a free transfer.
Moore has offered Hoolahan a deal until the end of the season as he looks to keep hold of his squad as he aims to maintain their push for promotion back to the Premier League.
A source close to the club has told Football Insider that the former Republic of Ireland international has verbally accepted the offer and will pen fresh terms.
The 36-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular place in the West Brom starting XI, but Baggies boss Darren Moore is keen to keep hold of the Irishman.
The ex-international has made only eight appearances since his arrival at West Brom, but he has impressed when he has played.
