Exclusive: West Ham could accept ‘£10m’ bid from Leeds

West Ham will listen to offers of £10-15million for Tomas Soucek amid interest from Leeds United, sources have told Football Insider.

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that Daniel Farke is keen to add experience to his squad following their promotion to the Premier League.

Soucek, 30, is seen as the “ideal” option to strengthen their squad and could be allowed to leave West Ham after dropping out of Graham Potter’s starting XI.

This comes after former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Leeds will back Farke by signing Premier League-level talent this summer.

However, the deal may be difficult to do as the midfielder is still seen as a valuable squad member and is contracted at the London Stadium until 2027.

Leeds eye Tomas Soucek deal after West Ham axe

Soucek has made 33 appearances for the Hammers this season, but has completed 90 minutes just once across their last six games.

Potter is aiming to adapt his style and stamp his authority on the squad, leading to a growing feeling that the midfielder could soon be sidelined.

However, the Czech Republic international’s work ethic and qualities he brings both to the pitch and the dressing room are seen a key assets for Farke’s side.

Leeds are aiming to establish themselves in the Premier League, and are determined not to suffer the same fate as Leicester, Ipswich and Southampton this season.

As a result, the addition of players like Soucek with top-level experience and quality are being targeted to strengthen their first-team options.
