Exclusive: Yves Bissouma set for crunch Tottenham exit talks

Yves Bissouma is set for crunch talks over his Tottenham future in the off-season, sources have told Football Insider.

The Mali international, 28, will have just 12 months remaining on his Spurs contract in June.

He is yet to extend his contract since joining from Brighton in 2022 and signing a four-year deal.

Bissouma has been benched for each of the last three Premier League fixtures as Tottenham‘s squad returns to full fitness.

Tottenham could cash in on Bissouma this summer

The defensive midfielder will hold talks with Spurs chiefs over the summer transfer window but will want assurances on game time if he is to remain at the club.

He could move on and join a new side in the off-season with the upcoming window the last chance for Tottenham to cash in before he can negotiate a free transfer exit in January 2026.

Bissouma has made 20 starts in 32 total appearances across all competitions for Ange Postecoglou’s side this term.

He has hit two Premier League goals this term – his only two strikes since joining Spurs.

The Mali captain has played 88 times for Tottenham having previously turned out 124 times for Brighton.

Industry insider Mick Brown has told Football Insider (1 March) that Crystal Palace have joined Tottenham in the race to sign Southampton star Tyler Dibling.

Dibling is certain to leave Southampton in the likelihood that they are relegated at the end of the season.

Man United and Newcastle are also interested in the Saints star, who is just 19 and has hit four goals in 28 games this term.

Tottenham sit 13th in the Premier League and have blooded top English talents like Mikey Moore and Archie Gray this term.
