Expert salutes Newcastle United as 'Monster' deal agreed
Newcastle United’s new partnership with Monster Energy will be “highly lucrative” for the club.
That is according to Spurs expert John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
On Tuesday (15 November), Newcastle announced a new partnership with Monster Energy who will now serve as the club’s official energy drink partner.
In September, Tottenham announced an extension to their own deal with Monster after the initial deal was signed in 2019.
Wenham insists Newcastle have done well to get a company like Monster Energy on board.
“They are also an official partner of Tottenham,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“But what I found strange about that is we also have Coca-Cola as an official partner. Surely that’s competition. I’m not sure how they have their branding all over the gaff.
“They are a partner but I have never seen anyone drinking it at the stadium. Apparently, it’s highly lucrative so Newcastle have done well to get involved with Monster Energy.
“This is another step in Newcastle’s attempts to bring in as much money as possible through sponsorships and partners.
“Clearly, Monster see the potential at Newcastle.”
Since last October’s Suadi-backed takeover, Newcastle have looked to expand their commercial operations.
A new Chief Executive Officer has been appointed as well as a new Chief Commercial Officer to boost the club’s revenue.
