Expert: Tottenham have an 18-year-old who plays just like Jude Bellingham
Tottenham starlet Dane Scarlett has started scoring goals just like Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane.
That is according to Spurs expert John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Bellingham bagged his first England goal with a towering header against Iran on Monday (21 November).
Wenham instantly drew a comparison with Spurs youngster Scarlett, 18, who found himself among the goals as Portsmouth beat Ipswich Town on Tuesday (22 November).
“It was a great goal,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“You don’t see many 19-year-olds getting up and scoring a towering header. The only other youngster I have seen score goals like that is Dane Scarlett.

“You just don’t see it very often. Scarlett needed his goal the other night. He hadn’t scored since September.
“His overall form and play have been good though, that is why he has been continuously picked. It was a great goal as well.
“I watched it last night. He had it on the edge of the box, it was a Kane-esq finish across the keeper and into the bottom corner.
“That should work wonders for his confidence and hopefully he can go on a bit of a run now.”
The forward made seven first-team appearances for Spurs during the 2021-22 season, most recently as a second-half substitute in the 4-0 win over Leeds United on 26 February.
