Tottenham have announced a new deal for centre-back Cameron Carter-Vickers, and fans are delighted that his future is in north London.
The 20-year-old enforcer has signed a new three-year deal that will see him remain at Tottenham until 2021.
The centre-back, who came up through the Tottenham youth system, spent last season on loan with first Sheffield United and then Ipswich, and has obviously done enough to earn himself a new long-term deal.
The news was announced on the official Tottenham Twitter page on Thursday:

Tottenham fans flocked onto Twitter on hearing the news, but not everyone was excited about the Carters-Vicker news.
The centre-back they want to be announced as signing a new deal is Toby Alderweireld.
However, plenty of fans congratulated him, with one saying he hoped he would get more game-time at Spurs in the future.
Here are the best reactions to Carter-Vickers signing his new deal:

Well done CCV. Went out to 2 clubs on loan last season, so had to settle twice – not easy. developed his game and earned new contract #COYS
