There has been a huge amount of excitement at Rangers following Steven Gerrard’s appointment as new manager.
Season ticket renewals were through the roof, leading to the club cutting away ticket allocations.
But, as the remaining season tickets went on general sale, that excitement turned to anger as the Rangers ticketing system failed for lots of people.
The good news is that Ibrox is likely to be a sellout each and every week, with even more home supporters ready to roar their side to victory.
The bad news is that it’s left lots of disgruntled people who couldn’t get the tickets they wanted.
The tweet announcing the sale of season tickets went up, accompanied by the words “Let’s Go!” on Tuesday morning, and it didn’t take too long for the complaints to start coming in.
Season tickets for 2018/19 are now available for general sale. #WeAreRangers #LetsGo

Here are the best reactions from Rangers fans who desperately wanted to get their hands on some season tickets:
I know there high demand. But this is a shambles.

Yup. I was also on the waiting list but that meant nothing as they just made it a free for all

What was the point of a waiting list if those on it didn't get any advantages?
— kirstene coyne (@KirsteneCoyne) June 5, 2018
So people on the waiting list for nearly a year get no advantages. Ridiculous rangers.

My dad had waited from 07:30 and when he went to pick his seat he got kicked out, twice! Not happy at all.

Seats selected, then timed out! Gutted!!!

SHAMBLES

It's brutal to get through.

Absolute shambles of a system.
No point on being on a waiting list.
Would not let me purchase 2 tickets for some reason.
When I got through with 1 ticket in my basket, it asked me to update my mobile number, then promptly kicked me out back to the queue.
Ended up with none.— Steven Geddes (@sageddes) June 5, 2018
