Farke shares lowdown on how Tottenham ace Edwards has performed in Norwich training this week

By Richard Parks
Norwich City manager Daniel Farke has revealed that Tottenham loanee Marcus Edwards is in contention to make his Norwich City debut this weekend after impressing in training this week.
The attacking midfielder completed a half-season loan from Spurs to Carrow Road last month but is yet to make his debut after injury prevented him from making the matchday squad in each of the team’s two games since his arrival.
Edwards, 19, is in contention to play in Norwich’s Championship clash against Middlesbrough at Carrow Road tomorrow (Saturday) as he aims to show Mauricio Pochettino what he can do.
Farke gave his analysis of the teenager’s performance in training this week at his media briefing on Friday as he explained that the youngster “has shown his potential”.

Last week, the Norwich boss, as quoted by the club’s official Twitter account, hailed Edwards for being “brilliant with the ball” and explained that he has “worked well this week” but admitted “we’re looking for Marcus to change his attitude on the pitch” and that he “has to learn more about playing without the ball”.

Farke’s verdict on Edwards will not be a surprise to Tottenham fans who are closely following his career.
It follows the claim of Pochettino in his recently-published book that it would have been “impossible” for the the left-footed dribbler to have made it in times gone by due to his attitude and behaviour.
Edwards has made just a single senior appearance for Spurs, in a League Cup tie in September 2016.
In other Tottenham news, it can be revealed that the club are set to splash the cash and seal deals for three brilliant players.
