Ex-Rangers defender Clint Hill has sent a message to former Ibrox team-mate Josh Windass after the in-form 23-year-old scored his fifth goal in eight games during the 2-1 win over Hibs on Wednesday night.
Windass scored the equaliser at Easter Road before Colombian striker Alfredo Morelos fired the Gers in front during first-half stoppage time.
Windass has had a new lease of life after being pushed forward into the Gers front line and has repaid Graeme Murty’s faith with a fine run of goal scoring form.
“It’s all about the 3 points. Great finish again, you’re on fire pal keep it up,” Ibrox fan favourite Hill said on his personal Twitter account, quoting Windass’ hilarious burglar tweet.

Hill spent last season at Ibrox after joining on a free transfer from Queens Park Rangers but was one of Pedro Caixinha’s first casualties when the Portuguese took the reins in March.
The veteran defender scored the equaliser for Rangers in their 1-1 draw with Celtic at Parkhead under Graeme Murty when the current interim boss had his previous spell in the hotseat.
Since leaving Ibrox, Hill has gone on to sign for Carlisle United after failing to win a contract with former side QPR.
Windass has become a key figure for the Gers this season and has scored six times in 21 appearances so far this term.
