Nottingham Forest fans have predicted the future on Twitter after it was revealed that the club is in advanced talks to sign former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner.
Forest face the Gunners on September 20 in the third round of the EFL Cup, and many Forest fans are predicting the 28-year-old will score a last-gasp winner against his old side.
The Guardian have claimed that the former Arsenal star is in advanced talks with Philippe Montanier’s side and could sign as a free agent.
Bendtner, who has 73 Denmark caps to his name, is available after being released by German giants Wolfsburg back in April.
Forest fans are delighted that their side could be picking up another striker soon after the summer transfer window has shut, with many believing Bendtner could be their new hero in two weeks’ time.
