Liverpool are set to offer new deals to Sadio Mane and Mo Salah, according to a report.
The Mirror state that Mane is first in line to receive improved terms on his current contract with the club while Salah is also in line for a pay hike.
Signed from Roma only last summer, the Egyptian has set the Premier League alight with his goalscoring form and ability to find himself in the right place at the right time which has led the Reds to want to reward their star man.
Mane meanwhile has gone from strength to strength since his arrival from Southampton in the summer of 2016.
And in light of his contribution to the side will be given an improved deal, having totalled 12 goals and seven assists in 28 games from midfield.
However, news of the players’ protracted offers from the Reds have left supporters of the club wondering why and when Roberto Firmino would be extending his stay at Anfield and feel that his input is equally as important.
And they have a point.
The Brazilian’s contract runs out in 2020 – a year before Mane’s – so you would assume the attacker’s future would be first in line to settle.
Liverpool’s 26-year-old forward has already racked up 37 appearances for the Reds this season, recording 21 goals and 12 assists in that time – it is easy to see why supporters are desperate to see the forward put pen to paper.
