Jurgen Klopp is on the receiving end of yet more good news as the manager has welcomed defender Nathaniel Clyne back into the fold, according to a report.
The Daily Mail showed pictures of the former Southampton defender with his teammates in the winter sun Marbella camp where he is now in full-training and continuing his recovery from a back injury.
Clyne has not featured for the Reds since picking up a back injury which has kept him out of action all season.
In the player’s absence, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez have deputised and have impressed at the back.
That means it will not as easy route back into the first team line-up in light of the excellent form the two have produced.
It could also mean that the 26-year-old has a possibility of being fit in time for England’s World Cup campaign in Russia this summer.
The good news keeps on coming for Liverpool at the moment, who are flying following the stunning 5-0 victory over FC Porto on Wednesday night.
After the win, former Reds striker Stan Collymore pointed out on Twitter that whenever Liverpool have beaten Portuguese opposition in Europe’s top competition, they have gone on to win the trophy – an omen if ever there was one.
