Four youngsters start in Koeman 4-3-1-2: Everton best possible XI to face Hull
COMMENT by Amir Mir
Everton should make three changes to the team that takes on Premier League strugglers Hull City at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.
Ronald Koeman’s men recorded a comfortable 3-0 win during their last game when they saw off the threat from Tony Pulis’ West Brom.
For the clash against the Tigers, Koeman should bring in striker Ademola Lookman, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Mason Holgate.
As a result, the trio of Phil Jagielka, Gareth Barry and Kevin Mirrallas should make way for what should be three points in the bag for the home side.
Koeman should freshen his team up and start the four youngsters, Lookman, Calvert-Lewin, Tom Davies and Holgate.
The likes of Holgate and Davies have already proven that when given the chance they can prove their worth, more younger players given a shot at first team football will only please the home support.
Teenager Lookman should play alongside the powerhouse that is Romelu Lukaku with the versatile Calvert-Lewin playing in behind.
Furthermore, academy duo Davies and Ross Barkley should then be given the license to dominate the midfield with Morgan Schneiderlin protecting them and breaking up play.
At the back, every time Holgate has been given a chance in the first team, he has mostly impressed and he should be brought back to partner the experienced Ashley Willams.
The impressive full-back duo of Seamus Coleman and Leighton Baines should keep their places because they provide so much threat out on the wing.
In other Everton news, Richard Keys has stated that this Toffees player will leave when he wants and go where he wants.
