Garry Monk sends Twitter message after Leeds defeat against Reading
By Amir Mir
Garry Monk has expressed his disappointment on Twitter after Leeds suffered a 1-0 defeat at promotion rivals Reading on Saturday evening.
Prior to the game, there were a lot of critical comments made about the Whites by the Royals, in particular, from manager Jaap Stam and striker Yann Kermorgant.
Therefore, the away supporters would have been annoyed to see Kermorgant open the scoring after 21 minutes.
Monk’s side produced a poor display, with striker Chris Wood, who is the Championship’s top scorer, particularly, quiet.
After the match, Monk delivered this honest verdict about his side’s performance as he sent this message to the fans.

The Whites have not kept a clean sheet on the road since their 1-0 win at Wolves in October as they will be on their travels once again on Tuesday night.
This time, they will come up against a free-scoring Brentford side, who beat league strugglers Bristol City earlier on in the day.
The Bees have scored an impressive 62 goals from their 39 matches this term, ten more strikes than their Tuesday opponents.
A defeat at Brentford could further damage Leeds’ chances of finishing in the top six because the chasing pack could close the gap on them in the table.
At this moment in time, seventh-placed Sheffield Wednesday are six points behind their Yorkshire rivals in the table.
