Lineker posts Twitter message about title race after Tottenham demolish Watford

Gary Lineker has speculated about the title race after Tottenham’s comprehensive victory against Watford on Saturday.
Spurs managed to brush Watford aside 4-0 at White Hart Lane and that means they are now just four points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea.
The north London club will now watch on keenly as Chelsea travel to Bournemouth on Saturday evening.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side took care of their match in some style and Dele Alli opened the scoring with a fantastic long-range effort.
Eric Dier struck his second of the season, before attacker Heung-Min Son netted a brace.

Lineker has spoken about Spurs’ chance of being just four points behind Chelsea by the end of the weekend.
“And then the lead was down to just four points… until this evening when it will return to seven… or it might not,” Lineker wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Spurs have emerged as serious contenders for the Premier League crown this season and will be hoping to draw on their experiences from last season.
They were battling reigning champions Leicester last campaign, but missed out on the chance to win their first Premier League trophy.
Spurs have now won their last seven games across all competitions and have managed to find their top form.
