‘Get out of my club’, ‘Banking on Lavia to save his job’ – Chelsea fans destroy Mauricio Pochettino after ‘idiotic’ claim

Chelsea fans are calling for Mauricio Pochettino’s head after what he said after their loss to Man United on Wednesday night (6 December).

The Blues were victim to a Scott McTominay brace at Old Trafford in the 2-1 defeat despite Robert Sanchez’s early penalty save and Cole Palmer’s late first-half equaliser.

With just two wins in their last seven Premier League games, Pochettino’s side sit 10th in the table and pressure on mounting on the former Tottenham gaffer.

After the game, the Argentine admitted that he had no plans to change the style of play or philosophy and blamed the swathe of injuries, including Wesley Fofana, Christopher Nkunku and Ben Chillwell, for making it “very, very difficult” to change results.

Fans are not buying his excuses and have taken to social media to react, and some of them want him booted out of West London.

This supporter suggested that the boss is depending on injured stars Romeo Lavia and Nkunku to “save his job” once they return.

One fan feels that the situation at Chelsea is only going to get worse after his statements.

These fans are done with Pochettino and want him to “shut up” and depart the club.

One supporter claimed he was not doing himself any favour with his comments.

One supporter slammed the boss for selling the fans the “delusion” of a project.

This fan was not impressed with Pochettino for seemingly changing the narrative around Chelsea’s plans this season.

One fan claimed he cared more about his reputation as a coach than the success of the club.

This fan suggested he may just be another Graham Potter.
