Morgan Gibbs-White had a heartfelt tribute to Taiwo Awoniyi in a message of solidarity after their recent Premier League win.
Nottingham Forest boosted their Champions League hopes with a vital 2-1 victory over West Ham United, a result that carried extra emotional weight given recent events at the club.

Following the emotional 2-1 win over West Ham, he posted on Instagram with the caption: “That one was for you bro” tagging Awoniyi in the post.
The gesture earned reactions from across the Premier League, with Dominic Solanke, James Maddison and Jack Grealish among those liking the post.
Forest players had also worn special t-shirts during the warm-up in tribute to Awoniyi, and Nikola Milenkovic’s late winner capped off a vital victory in what had been an emotional and turbulent week for the club.
