Glen Kamara could quit Rangers for ‘big’ fee after source’s reveal – expert
Alan Hutton has suggested Glen Kamara could quit Rangers for a “big fee”.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Gers defender said clubs like Celtic and Rangers won’t turn down “big” offers for any players.
The 27-year-old will have two years left on his Ibrox contract in the summer and has become an important member of Michael’s Beale’s squad in the second half of the season.
The Light Blues could also be set to lose several assets from their midfield as Scott Arfield, Steven Davis and Ryan Jack are all out of contract in the summer.
On 27 March, Football Insider revealed that Nantes are still keen on signing the Finland international this summer after a deal fell through last year.
When asked if Rangers could be convinced to let Kamara go for a big fee, Hutton told Football Insider: “It depends how much.
“I put Rangers and Celtic in this, if the number is big enough they are not going to turn it down. They know they need the money to re-invest in the squad.

“It is going to come down to that. I am not sure how high the figure would be but with the departures that are looming, you have got the likes of Jack and Arfield that could stay but we do not know at this moment in time.
“So I doubt he would want to lose another midfielder because it is going to be a big transition in the team come the summer.“
