'It’s down to them' - Graeme Murty throws down transfer gauntlet to Rangers quartet
Rangers boss Graeme Murty has thrown down the gauntlet to the quartet of loan signings at Ibrox to prove that they are good enough to land a permanent transfer to the club.
Sean Goss, Jamie Murphy, Jason Cummings and Russell Martin have all arrived at Rangers in recent weeks in deals that last until the end of the season.
And Murty’s opinion is that the players need to show the hunger that will encourage the Light Blues to keep them at the club going into next season.
“It’s down to them to make us hungry to keep them,” he said, as quoted by Rangers’ official Twitter account.

The news signings are all expected to be involved in the Gers’ upcoming league match against Aberdeen at Ibrox.
The Light Blues go into the match three points behind the Dons in the battle for second place in the Scottish Premiership table. A win for the Gers would move them into second place on goal difference.
The match is the third meeting between the sides of the season, a James Tavernier double and a Carlos Pena goal gave the Gers a 3-0 win at Ibrox, whilst goals from Danny Wilson and Josh Windass helped a ten man Rangers to a 2-1 win at Pittodrie.
The game is the first between the sides since Dons boss Derek McInnes turned down the opportunity to managed Rangers.
