Graham Roberts delivers verdict after Tottenham win v Watford, praises 26-year-old

Graham Roberts has praised Tottenham after their victory over Watford and highlighted the performance of defender Kieran Trippier.
The 26-year-old starred in Spurs’ 4-0 win against the Hornets and was a constant threat on the right flank.
The right-back managed to put in several crosses during the game and assisted Heung-Min Son for one of his two goals.
Meanwhile, Dele Alli and Eric Dier were also on the scoresheet for the hosts and they also welcomed back Harry Kane from injury in the second-half.
Ex-Spurs player Roberts revealed his delight with his former side’s victory and praised the work of defender Trippier.

“Top result again Spurs. Kieran Trippier was superb and the whole team playing incredibly very proud of the players and manager,” Roberts wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Spurs’ victory meant they moved just four points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea and have intensified the pressure in the title race.
Antonio Conte’s Chelsea travel to Bournemouth on Saturday evening and will be hoping to open the gap back to seven.
Spurs have won their last seven consecutive games across all competitions and have showed the strength in their squad during that time.
Trippier has featured in the last four games ahead of regular Kyle Walker and reminded people of his qualities.
The attack-minded full-back has made 16 appearances this season and has proved to be a great option in Pocehttino’s squad.
