Graham Roberts: Tottenham 26-year-old is playing like a machine

By Harvey Byrne

Graham Roberts has stated that Kyle Walker has got “better and better” each week and is currently playing like a “machine.”

The 26-year-old full-back played the full 90 minutes in Saturday’s 5-0 victory of Swansea and was commanding going forwards and in defence.

His display caught the attention of former player Roberts, who commented on the England international’s strong performance on his personal Twitter account.

Walker has been a key part of Spurs’ line-up this season and has starred in 16 appearances for the side in all competitions.

Spurs have lost just one game in the league with Walker in the team, while he has also been involved in two defeats against Monaco and Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.

His strong displays have seen Tottenham placed in fifth in the Premier League and three points behind Liverpool and Manchester City in third and fourth respectively.

Despite the strong position, Mauricio Pochettino’s outfit will be aiming higher after finishing in third last season.

They have already suffered the disappointment of being knocked out of the Champions League and they will be keen to ensure they compete in the competition again next season.

They will face CSKA Moscow for their final group game in the Champions League on Wednesday, before facing Manchester United at Old Trafford in the league on Sunday.
