Tottenham legend Graham Roberts has faith in Harry Kane and Mauricio Pochettino to help rescue the club from the rough patch of form they have found themselves in.
Spurs fell to a surprise 2-1 defeat to Leicester at the King Power on Tuesday night, extending their winless run in the Premier League to three games.
Defeats to Arsenal and Leicester, as well as a draw with West Brom at Wembley on Saturday, has seen Pochettino’s men slip down to fifth in the table and by the time that Wednesday night’s fixtures are over, they could find themselves as low as seventh.
However Roberts, speaking on his personal Twitter account on Wednesday, believes that the key duo of star striker Kane and manager Pochettino are the ones to help Spurs in their hour of need, claiming that their desperation to win will be key.
“Sometimes you can over analyse things. We have no doubt hit a tricky period but when you have characters like Harry Kane and the manager, things will quickly be put right. I have faith in them and you can’t meet people who want to win as much as them two,” he said.

Tottenham face Watford at Vicarage Road in their next outing on Saturday in what will no doubt be a tricky tie.
Although Marco Silva’s side have performed well this term and sit eighth in the standings, they have suffered heavy home defeats to Manchester City and most recently Manchester United.
That will no doubt give Spurs hope, will must get back to winning ways sooner rather than later.
