Graham Roberts makes Arsenal dig ahead of Tottenham clash

By Dominic Toner

Tottenham legend Graham Roberts has taken a dig at Arsenal on Twitter ahead of their game on Sunday.

The two north London rivals clash at White Hart Lane in the Premier League and both sides are in desperate need of three points.

Spurs are competing with Chelsea for the Premier League title and are currently four points adrift of them, with just five games remaining to overturn the deficit.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are sixth-placed in the league table and are in danger of missing out on the top-four spots.

Spurs ace Roberts has mocked rivals Arsenal ahead of the game and taken a swipe at their manager Arsene Wenger.

“Think all spurs fans should sing we want you to stay Wenger on Sunday on the stadium after we score that would be great,” Roberts wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Spurs are on course to finish above Arsenal for the first time in 22 years and they have looked the stronger outfit this season.

Pochettino’s team could still win their first ever Premier League title and have a formidable starting line-up, with English stars Harry Kane and Dele Alli at the heart of their success.

The two sides drew 1-1 in the previous meeting this campaign at the Emirates Stadium, but Spurs will be looking to capitalise on home advantage this time around.

In other Tottenham news, Paul Merson believes the club’s midfielder is the most underrated in the Premier League.
