Graham Roberts makes bold claim regarding Tottenham 23-year-old after Arsenal win
By Will Butcher
Graham Roberts believes Tottenham’s Harry Kane is still in with a shout of winning the Premier League’s Golden Boot award.
Kane, 23, is currently second in the charts with 21 strikes in the Premier League, three behind Everton goal machine Romelu Lukaku who has struck 24 times for the Toffees.
Posting on his personal Twitter account, former Spurs star Roberts claimed that Kane could leapfrog Belgium international Lukaku after scoring against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
The claim is a bold one because Kane must claw back a three-goal deficit with only four Premier League games still to play, against West Ham, Man United, Leicester and Hull.
I still think @HKane can get that golden boot despite missing a few months overall incredible player proper spurs striker

Kane notched his 21st of the season against north London rivals Arsenal at White Hart Lane, after winning a penalty from a clumsy Gabriel tackle inside the Gunners penalty area.

England international Kane found the bottom corner with aplomb, leaving goalkeeper Petr Cech motionless in between the sticks to earn a 2-0 victory.
Kane’s goal came after Dele Alli equalled Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s tally for the season of 17 league goals, by scrambling home a loose ball from close range to break the deadlock.
Tottenham’s number 10 will have to find the back of the net against London rivals West Ham on Friday night at the London Stadium if he is to have any chance of catching Lukaku.
Three points for Spurs and a repeat of their reverse fixture at White Hart Lane that saw them win 3-2 will see them move to within a point of Chelsea, who play on Monday against Middlesbrough.
