Graham Roberts sends Twitter message to Vincent Janssen as Tottenham beat Swansea
By Will Butcher
Graham Roberts has declared himself delighted with the improved form of Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen following Spurs’ 3-1 win over Swansea.
Janssen, 22, has struggled to impress this season following his £17million summer move from Dutch side AZ Alkmaar, scoring just five goals all season with only one of those from open play.
However,on his personal Twitter account, former Spurs ace Roberts claimed fans are beginning to warm to the Holland international, as Janssen is “working hard” and “playing well”.
The last few weeks I can see @vincentjanssen really working hard and playing well the fans really warm to him so pleased for him

Although he started on the substitutes’ bench after losing out to South Korea international Son Heung-Min, Janssen came on to prove pivotal in Spurs’ late triumph.
With the score at 1-1, Janssen flicked the ball through to the onrushing Son to fire Spurs into the lead, wrong-footing everyone in the Swansea defence with his intelligent assist.

The win restores hope in Spurs’ chase of a Premier League title, as they remain seven points behind Antonio Conte’s Chelsea who beat Man City 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.
Janssen could be given a chance from the off against Watford at White Hart Lane on Saturday following his late impact, as the Spurs number nine continues to search for his missing touch.
