Graham Roberts: Tottenham 25-year-old should be available against Arsenal
By Dominic Toner
Graham Roberts believes that Tottenham midfielder Victor Wanyama should be available against Arsenal.
Spurs host their north London rivals on Sunday in the Premier League and will be looking to trim the four-point gap to leaders Chelsea.
They go into the game after eight consecutive league victories as they beat Crystal Palace 1-0 on Wednesday night, with Christian Eriksen scoring the winner.
Spurs midfielder Wanyama played the first-half against Palace and was perhaps fortunate not to be sent off after some reckless challenges.
The 25-year-old was then withdrawn at half-time by his manager Mauricio Pochettino and it’s unclear whether it was tactical or a slight injury blow.

Ex-Spurs ace Roberts feels that Wanyama should be available to play against Arsenal at the weekend.
“Pretty confident Mousa Dembele be ready for Sunday mainly precaution and he won’t want to miss the game,” Roberts wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Spurs now have just five games remaining to catch leaders Chelsea in an intriguing title race.
Their next game is the potentially difficult fixture at home to Arsenal, who will be desperate to stop their greatest rivals win any silverware.
Pochettino’s side will start as favourites to stretch their record, but the Gunners have begun to find their own form recently and will always pose a threat with their attacking options.
In other Tottenham news, the club’s loan star was named player of the season.
