Guimaraes and Cunha react to Richarlison as ‘Tottenham could accept offer’
Richarlison has attracted the attention of Newcastle United and Man United stars with a new message as speculation over his future at Tottenham goes on.
The 28-year-old featured in the closing stages of Brazil’s 1-0 win over Paraguay in the early hours of Wednesday, 11 June, ensuring the nation’s spot at the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
Real Madrid‘s Vinicius Junior scored the only goal of the game right before the half-time break, with the Spurs forward eventually replacing the goalscorer to see out the victory in Sao Paulo.
While the centre-forward has been a regular figure at international level, reaching 50 caps, his involvement at club level in North London has been limited due to a series of frustrating injuries.
He has made just 90 appearances since signing from Everton in 2022, scoring 20 goals in that time, and Stefan Borson told Football Insider that Tottenham could now cash in on Richarlison.

Richarlison enjoys Brazil link-up with Carlo Ancelotti
Taking to Instagram (11 June), Richarlison wrote: “Happy to qualify for the World Cup and my 50 games in this shirt. It is always an honour!
“Now it’s time to work to evolve and come back even stronger!” with Brazil flag and love heart emojis, fielding likes from Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimaraes, and Man United’s Matheus Cunha.
Current club teammates Dominic Solanke, Son Heung-min, and Pedro Porro also liked the post, as well as worldwide superstar Vinicius of Real Madrid.
Everton supporters getting excited amid Richarlison exit links at Tottenham
Football Insider verdict
While David Moyes has already squashed rumours of a potential return to Everton for the 28-year-old forward, many are still waiting in anticipation for a transfer for the fan-favourite to emerge.
Richarlison made 152 appearances during his time on Merseyside, registering 53 goals and 13 assists, and Mick Brown told Football Insider that the former Everton man has no future at Tottenham.
It has been a hugely unlucky time for the Brazilian star in North London, and if he were to leave this summer, Spurs would likely have to take a loss on the £60million they paid for him [BBC Sport].

Of course, Richarlison could be joining another huge figure out the exit doors in North London, with Daniel Levy making the difficult decision to sack Ange Postecoglou despite winning a trophy.
Football Insider now understands that Brentford’s Thomas Frank is leading the race to be Postecoglou’s successor, with the manager’s £10million release clause not a major sticking point for Spurs.
It is a huge summer of chance for the Lilywhites, and one that not many expected after lifting the Europa League title, but Richarlison could be the next figure to depart.
