Hadi Sacko sends Twitter message to Leeds fans ahead of Reading clash

By Will Butcher

Hadi Sacko has called on Leeds fans to raise the roof against Reading on Tuesday night.

The 22-year-old is set to start on the right flank for the Yorkshire giants, as they look to secure three vital points in their hunt for promotion against Jaap Stam’s third-placed outfit.

Posting on his personal Twitter account, Sacko described the match as an “important game” and is desperate to see the Elland Road faithful get behind the Yorkshire giants.

Leeds will be looking to get their promotion hunt back on track after suffering a minor blip against Chris Hughton’s Brighton last Friday, losing 2-0.

Garry Monk’s side will face an uphill task against the Royals, as they are without midfield trio Kalvin Phillips, Eunan O’Kane and Pablo Hernandez.

Captain Liam Bridcutt could return to action after returning to training, but remains a doubt as Monk is unlikely to want to rush him back after three months out with a broken foot.

A win for the Yorkshire giants could take them back up to fourth place in the Championship, if Huddersfield and Derby drop points on Tuesday night.

Sacko has been ever present for Monk’s side this season, making 23 league and cup appearances since his summer loan from Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon.

In other Leeds news, Monk could be about to conduct a u-turn to solve his midfield crisis.
