Harry Kane, Dominic Solanke react after Tottenham announce manager move
Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane and Dominic Solanke reacted after Tottenham announced the departure of a key figure.
As the hangovers subside following Spurs’ Europa League final victory over Man United, the club must now turn to strengthening their side ahead of next season.
However, before any thought is given to incoming or outgoing players, chairman Daniel Levy must decide on who will take charge of the North London club next season.
The Tottenham job will be an appealing one if it becomes available this summer, given they will be playing in the Champions League next year.
But it is yet to be seen whether that will be enough to convince a manager like Thomas Frank to leave Brentford in favour of a move to North London.
And following the departure of a figure who has been with the club for the majority of his life, there is plenty of work to be done at Tottenham this summer.

Ryan Mason leaves Tottenham to become West Brom manager
Having first joined the club in 1999 as a youth player, Ryan Mason played for his boyhood club, before a horrific head injury forced him to call time on his playing career early.
That did not end his relationship with Spurs, as the former England international re-joined the club and worked his way up the coaching ranks, eventually becoming an assistant coach under Postecoglou.
Following Mason’s move to take over at West Brom for the first full-time manager role of his career, Tottenham shared an image of the smiling coach on Instagram, captioned: “Ryan Mason, our Assistant Coach, has left the Club to take up the role of Head Coach at West Bromwich Albion.
“Thank you for everything, Ryan”.
The post was then liked by the 33-year-old’s former teammate Kane and current Spurs striker Solanke.
Ange Postecoglou sacked as Tottenham wait for ’emotions to dissipate‘
Football Insider Verdict
Football Insider revealed on 1 June that Tottenham have decided to sack Ange Postecoglou.
The club are waiting for the “emotions of their Europa League triumph in Bilbao to dissipate”, and Spurs are expected to formally announce the departure of the Australian soon.
The decision to part ways with the man who ended their 17-year trophy drought seems a callous one and cold-hearted one.
But Levy can never be accused of letting that get in the way of what he sees as the best decision for the club, as shown when Mason took temporary charge of Spurs for the 2021 Carabao Cup final.
The Tottenham chairman sacked Jose Mourinho just days before the cup final, denying him the chance to win the fifth League Cup of his career.
