Harry Kane posts Twitter message to Tottenham fans after crucial win against Watford

By Amir Mir

Harry Kane has expressed his delight on Twitter after making his comeback from injury as Tottenham secured a crucial 4-0 win over Watford on Saturday afternoon.

The 23-year-old striker injured his ankle during the 6-0 FA Cup win against League One Millwall in March.

As a result, he missed three Premier League matches for his side, with his team picking up a maximum of nine points from those matches.

Furthermore, Spurs scored seven goals during that period and by the time he came on against Watford, they had scored four goals and had the game wrapped up.

Nonetheless, ahead of a number of crucial fixtures, Kane managed to get 30 minutes under his belt when he replaced Vincent Janssen after 60 minutes.

The club’s academy product had this message for the supporters after Mauricio Pochettino’s side recorded a valuable three points in the race for the title.

“Great feeling to be back out on the pitch,” Kane wrote on his personal Twitter account. “Fantastic team performance again.”

Over the course of the season, Kane has been in devastating form for his side, playing 23 Premier League games and scoring 19 goals.

The White Hart Lane faithful will be pleased to see him back on the pitch because there are a number of big games coming up for the club.

Pochettino will prepare his team for a tough FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea on April 22 as they will also host north London rivals Arsenal at the end of this month.
