‘Has me scared’ – Man United fans are seriously worried after what Leny Yoro did vs Nottingham Forest
Man United fans were far from impressed with Leny Yoro’s performance against Nottingham Forest.
Since Yoro had a poor display against Man City on 14 September, the centre-back has struggled to find his feet under Ruben Amorim.
Yoro suffered an injury for Man United towards the back end of last season and is evidently still working his way back to full fitness.
Yet, the Red Devils faithful had much to say on his questionable showing against Nottingham Forest on 1 November.
Yoro underwhelms for Man United after surprise start
Given the recent improvement in form of Harry Maguire, it was a shock to see Yoro start ahead of him against the Garibaldi.
His selection in the line-up did not live up to the manager’s expectations, with the Frenchman appearing to look nervy and shaky at the City Ground.
Still a young player in development, United fans noted his lack of experience with one saying: “Yoro has me scared I won’t lie. He is letting the ball slide across him way too many times in dangerous positions.” with another adding: “Decent half but Yoro needs to be alive, [he’s] been kinda sleeping lately.”
Similarly, the defender wasn’t commanding against the physical might of Forest, with one supporter stating: “Is it just me or Yoro really looks uncomfortable with the ball today?” with another saying: “Why is Yoro always shaky?”
