Heckingbottom delivers four warnings to Leeds players ahead of Championship clash v Derby

Paul Heckingbottom has said that Wednesday’s opponents Derby County are the real deal, and issued four reasons why his side need to be at their best to get anything out of the game.
Talking at the pre-match press conference, Heckingbottom showed he had done his research on Derby and pointed out why they were currently sitting in fourth in the Championship just three points off the automatic promotion spots.

“They can win games when playing badly and playing well,” Heckingbottom said as quoted by Leeds Live.
“They showed the threat they have with the front four in the Wednesday defeat,” he continued.
“They’re a resolute, counter-attacking team and they’ve got a really good balance to their squad and XI.”
Heckingbottom knows it won’t be easy when they travel to Pride Park on Wednesday night but he can call on the services of star attacker Samu Saiz after his return from a six-game suspension.
Leeds have been on a dreadful run while Saiz has been out, losing four and drawing two of the last six Championship games.
A win against Derby would get their season back on track but it still might be too little, too late for their play-off hopes.
They’re currently in 11th place and eight points off Bristol City in sixth.
